I can not attach office documents to emails from all browsers. Only pdf works

Whenever I try to attach a word document or any office document, such as PowerPoint, the browser feeezes then shuts down. Happens on all browsers and different email addresses from different sources. If I save them as pdf, then it will send. However, I am in School and I have a PowerPoint presentation due today and I cannot attach it...it’s an online master’s program. I was told I’d get a call between 24 to 48  hours  and that was Saturday morning as soon as they opened. They gave me a case number but nothing came of it. Why pay all this money for warranty and such if they HP is ignoring my problem. I need help ASAP please.

HP does not provide support for non-HP, third-party apps, like Microsoft Office.  I have no idea why anyone told you to expect a call from HP.

For problems with MS Office, you would have to contact Microsoft Support directly.
