I can't read the BIOS release notes.

I'm from Russia. I again thought about updating the BIOS (I have Insyde F.11, 08/13/2018) to the latest version (Insyde F.29 Rev.A). But every time I try to read the release notes attached to the release, as you recommend, I get an error in all language versions of the HP site:

I've asked a similar question here before, but they just told me to update the BIOS, and they didn't tell me where to look at the release notes.

What to do?

Hi:

The way I read the release notes is to click on the last section in your video...Revision History

That will have all of the release notes for the previous BIOS releases.

It seems to me that one review of the history of revisions is not enough. Previously, the "Release Notes" file downloaded and displayed without problems, but now there is no way to download it. As I understand it, this file describes in as much detail as possible what problems are fixed, unlike the page with the drivers and BIOS of my laptop. I don't understand why it happened.

How do I know exactly which issues are fixed?

Unfortunately, that is all there is, so I don't know what else to tell you.

If everything is working fine in your notebook, and you are skeptical of updating the BIOS, then I wouldn't do it.

The link that won't work provides exactly the same info as what you read on the webpage.

For example, the link opens on this newer 15-cx1000 model and as you can see, the release notes within the HTML document that opens are exactly the same as what you can read without opening it and provides no additional details on what the fix did--just 'Provides increased security.'

The BIOS in this notebook is different than yours so do not attempt to install it.

I was only using this as an example to explain you would see nothing of any additional value if that link had worked on your notebook's support page.
