I'm sorry, but I don't think you understand what I'm explaining or what the Intel website says. That AI can literally tell you that it's not an AI. Serious AI error

Intel Optane memory is a disk, not memory. You cannot put it in memory slots; it uses M.2 slots.

Do you know the difference between an M.2 slot and the ones used for normal memory?

Thanks again for taking your time to help a non-technical person in this difficult situation. And no, I do not know the difference you have mentioned.  But I keep trying to find important material that is somewhere in this laptop to provide the tools for the experts to work on. I might open the back (I have done that with other laptops) and take a picture to post... perhaps tomorrow since I am done for today.

Final thanks for your help. Analyzing this would be a complicated, time consuming, and costly process, I have decided to believe some reports that the "beginning to degrade factor" is an error or even Hp's diagnostic that all is well too; hence, I will let my 2022 laptop carry on as usual. Since I had just bought a new laptop (in initial prep stages), I will consider transferring most of the stuff from the old laptop to the new one and/or to an external drive. I have cleaned the old laptop of unnecessary items but to think of starting the new one... Oh well...  Wish me luck and my best to you.
