Hi, I´d need to install WinXP on my laptop, but a don´t have the drivers for my SATA HD to make an slipstream of the OS

Do you have any idea where i can´t get it??

Hi:

 

Unless your PC has an Intel 3rd gen processor or older, installing XP is not possible.

 

Not to mention that even if you could, there wouldn't be one driver for any of the hardware that would work.

Yes, it is fun to try and run XP on the newest model PC's you can, but our luck ran out after the Intel 3rd gen core processors.

 

If there was a way, I would have gladly given you the instructions.

 

Another bad thing is that you used to be able to update XP through Windows Update and have all the updates through 2013, which is when Microsoft ended support for XP.

 

But in July of 2020, Microsoft pulled the plug on Windows updates for XP and Vista.
