Hi:
Drives do not come with operating systems installed.
You need to install an operating system.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

If you replaced a 2.5" drive with another 2.5" SSD, you can purchase a SATA to USB adapter like this.
If you still have the new SSD in the PC, remove it and install the original drive.
Plug the SATA to USB cable into your new SSD.
Plug the other end into your notebook's USB port.
Install the free Macrium Reflect backup/cloning software.
You want the software on the left side of the page, under the Backup at Home section.

After the cloning is successful, you can install the new SSD into your notebook, and it should boot right up.
