I have multiple share point accounts that I could access via my old laptop on windows 10 but I get 'connection' issues when I try on my new one. My company says it may be a glitich with windows 11. has anyone else got this problem.
also I have a 3 year support plan but cant get through to HP support - very frustrating!

Hi @alex071000,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing difficulties accessing SharePoint accounts on your HP ENVY x360 13.3 Inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC and need to refresh many times, there could be several reasons behind this issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working correctly. A weak or intermittent connection can cause issues with accessing online services like SharePoint.
- Browser Compatibility: SharePoint is optimized for specific web browsers. Make sure you are using a supported web browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Browser Extensions: Sometimes browser extensions or add-ons can interfere with the functionality of SharePoint. Try accessing SharePoint in a private or incognito browsing mode, which disables extensions, to see if the problem persists.
- Browser Settings: Ensure that your browser is not blocking any necessary scripts or cookies required for SharePoint. Check your browser settings and security configurations.
- Antivirus/Firewall: Your antivirus software or firewall may be blocking SharePoint access. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if it resolves the issue. If it does, you can reconfigure the settings to allow SharePoint access.
- Clear DNS Cache: Flushing your DNS cache can sometimes help resolve network-related issues. Open a Command Prompt or Terminal window and type ipconfig /flushdns (on Windows) or sudo dscacheutil -flushcache (on macOS) and press Enter.
- Use an Alternative Network: If possible, try accessing SharePoint from a different network (e.g., a different Wi-Fi network or a mobile hotspot) to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your network.
- Check SharePoint Status: Occasionally, SharePoint may experience service outages or issues. You can check the status of SharePoint online services on the Microsoft 365 Service Health Dashboard (if you're using SharePoint Online).
- Update Your Laptop: Ensure that your HP ENVY x360 laptop has all the latest operating system updates, drivers, and firmware updates installed. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
- Contact IT Support: If you are part of an organization, reach out to your IT support team or SharePoint administrator. They may be aware of specific issues or configurations that could be causing the problem.
- Browser Compatibility Mode: In some cases, switching to a different browser compatibility mode (e.g., IE mode in Microsoft Edge) may help if your SharePoint site relies on older technologies.
- Try a Different Device: If possible, try accessing SharePoint from a different device to see if the issue is specific to your laptop.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's a good idea to gather more specific information about the problem you're encountering and consider reaching out to Microsoft support or your organization's IT support team for further assistance.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your message. I tried logging in on another laptop which is a 4 year old HP envy with windows 10. i could access all my share point accounts.
on my new laptop (windows 11), I can generally easily access share point if I am using the wifi via my mobile - but that can also be problematic. If I use the house wifi - i have a lot of problems with all my share point accounts. I have 1 day left to return my new laptop and wonder if this is the best option. I have had it for almost a month. I am concerned that a new laptop may have the same issues though. not sure what to do
