You can upgrade RAM and STORAGE for your machine
1. RAM: It has 4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) now and supports 8GB max. You can replace 4GB with 8GB using compatible RAM such as https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct15468605
More RAM would save paging/swapping and give less activity on SSD.
2. STORAGE: It has a tiny 128 GB M.2 SSD. You can replace it with a compatible drive such as https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-860-evo-m-2-sata-500gb-mz...
I don't know what do you have on your current 128 GB M.2 SSD. Only you know which files you can delete to make more room.
