HP Recommended
Product: HP ENVY - 17m-bw0013dx

I replaced the battery with a non HP battery. System doesn't recognize it so I ordered an HP Battery. While on the laptop, I figured I would find out what HP recommended for update and the bios was on the list (F.29). I upgraded and the got a BSOD DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE. I would like to restore the old bios F.13 REV A and am trying to find out how and where to get it.

You can find all of the available previous BIOS downloads by clicking to expand the Revision History section on the latest BIOS update page at the link below:

Hopefully, you will be able to revert to an older BIOS version.

 

I don't see anything in the release notes that state that you can't.
