I am using HP 2000-2106TU notebook PC. From starting when I bought my pc I am unable to use bluetooth in my pc. It is containing Atheros AR5B125 wireless card and drivers are not appropriateScreenshot (1).png even on HP Software Assistant or HP Support website.so kindly help me with it.

Hi:

 

Looking at your screenshot, there is no presence of any bluetooth hardware, but the parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with an Atheros 9485GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and 3012 Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter.

 

See if this works...

 

Make a bootable Ubuntu installer from the link below.

Boot from the Ubuntu installer, and select the option to 'Try Ubuntu Without Installing.'

 

See if you can turn on the Bluetooth in Ubuntu.

 

If you can, turn it on, exit out of the installer, shut down the PC, remove the installer, and when you get back into Windows, the Bluetooth should be showing up.

 

If it doesn't the Bluetooth portion of the wireless card has failed.
