Hi @AKMALJON1988

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're seeing an I2C HID Device error (Code 10) on your HP device. This can affect components such as the touchpad, touchscreen, or other input devices that rely on the I2C HID interface.

To assist further, could you please share:

  • The exact HP product model
  • Your Windows version (Windows 10 or Windows 11)
  • Whether the issue affects the touchpad, touchscreen, or another device
  • When the issue first started appearing
  • Any recent BIOS, Windows, or driver updates before the issue began
  • Any error details shown in Device Manager besides "Code 10"

In the meantime, here are a few basic checks you can try:

  • Restart the PC and check if the device starts working normally.
  • Disconnect any external USB devices and test again.
  • Open Device Manager and check whether there are any other devices showing warning symbols.
  • Run Windows Update and install any pending updates.
  • If the touchpad is affected, verify that it has not been disabled through a function key shortcut.

Once you share the product details and additional information about the affected device, we'll be in a better position to understand the issue and suggest more targeted guidance.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
