Hello, @taykid28

Thanks for reaching out! I'd like to help 🙂

Going through your post, I see that the built-in webcam is not working. To assist you with this issue, I need the following details:

1) What is the product number or model number of your HP product? If unsure, please check: http://hp.care/2oPCMBG

2) What is the operating system on your PC?

Alternatively, check the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2qe5IRJ

Thanks, I'll watch for your reply!

Good luck 🙂

Hi

I'm having the same issue with my laptop too.

I got windows upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10 (64 bit).

I am trying to open webcam through youcam and it says not detected and also I cant use webcam on skype because of it.

Model : HP 15-r007tx

Windows 10

Also, I couldn't see imaging devices in my device manager. I tried to get imaging devices by doing this in device manager.

ACTION -> Add legacy-> Add imaging devices -> Scan for hardware changes -> restart system.

I was able to find imaging devices after this in device manager but it shows a problem in imaging device icon. I have updated the drive of it too and it says the device is already up to date. No update required.
