I have an Omen 17-cb1080nr that all of a sudden began randomly returning this error. The computer works on battery only, and will not run on AC power. I have two power supplies that I know work (I have another computer same specs and they both power that computer fine). Just to be sure, I ordered a new power supply, and the computer returns the same error. I booted into diagnostics and ran the test on all 3 AC adapters, and all three returned a failure error (even though I know they work). I also performed a test on the battery, and it passed. The interesting thing is, when I power down the laptop, the battery begins to charge, and will charge back to full. When I turn it on, the computer only runs off battery. I've also updated the BIOS, to no avail.

Any ideas as to what's going on? I'm assuming it may be something between the power port and the battery itself? I have not yet tried to remove the battery to see if the computer will run on AC only. I'm hoping I might be able to repair without just buying a new laptop. Thanks!
