Increasing minimum "vram" for integrated GPU?

Greetings.

I am using my laptop with Manjaro Linux. The road has been long and bumpy one. Windows came crashing down on  my nerves and I pulled the trigger. 😄

Linux doesn't seem to allocate Ram dynamically for the integrated GPU. This could be a compability problem with hardware or a setting in the UEFI. UEFI is a locked down version, so no luck there..

My specific laptop allocates 512 Mb of Ram to the integrated GPU, which is on the small side.

Advanced UEFI settings could be the solution?

What is your 15-en1xxx machine ? Most likely iGPU on your machine is disabled and you can't enable it.  Integrated video (iGPU) does not have room for keep VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required (the number is dynamic, not fix). During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.

The following document shows Max shared RAM for Intel iGPU versions (I can't find a similar list from AMD).

Note: I don't know Linux has a tool to do any fancy thing or not.
