Good day. I want to know... Will the Crucian SATA 2.5 1TB SSD be detected by a laptop? And will it fit into the loop connector?

Hi:
Have you opened up the notebook to make sure the hardware is present to add a 2.5" drive?
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that 2.5" drives are supported, but on many HP notebooks that only come with M.2 SSD's, none of the hardware is there to connect a 2.5" drive to.
It could be missing the two required parts shown in chapter 3, on page 21.
(16b) Hard drive bracket (not available as a spare part)
(16c) Hard drive cable L56898-001
If your notebook has all the parts to add a 2.5" SSD, then yes, the Crucial MX500 1 TB SSD would work fine.
If your notebook is missing the hard drive parts, you can always remove the existing 256 GB M.2 NVMe drive and install a 1 TB NVMe drive instead.
