I uninstalled the intel display driver following a tutorial on the internet that said when you restart the computer it would reinstall. It didn't and I then used the file on the intel website to reinstall it but it isn't showing in the device manager, still only the NVIDIA display driver that I also have

Sorry, you have to use FULLY TESTED version from HP. Your machine won't install drivers from Intel.
