Hi,

I have recently Upgraded 2.5HDD with 2.5 WD Green SSD. And the Harddisk is connected using Caddy. After the Starting system, intel Rapid storage technology reports data risk Error. The Exact Error is "your system is reporting one or more warnings and data may be at risk. Open the application for details".I have searched in google for this error, but most of the people say that while using RAID configuration it will occur. But I am not using Any Raid Configuration.

  • I have installed Windows 10 in SSD
  • And the hard disk installed in Caddy and it is only used for data storage.

Please give the solution for this issue.

Regards,

Ram

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

I understand your concerns.

Please perform the below steps and check.

Set BIOS default and restart:

  1. Restart your notebook.
  2. During startup, press F10 repeatedly until the BIOS menu is displayed.
  3. Once the BIOS menu is displayed, press F9 to restore factory defaults.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Press F10 to save changes and exit.
  6. Select Yes to confirm.
  7. The computer restarts using the default settings.

If the issue still persists, please update the BIOS.

Have a nice day!!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but this is not a valid solution. For only one software I don't want to restore my Operating System. Please suggest me if any other solution for this.

Thanks & Regards,

Ram.
