When using the hp omen 15-dc1018ur laptop, I got a problem. When you enter windows 10 in the display settings, then in the additional display settings, when you click on the "Display Adapter Properties" button, the inscription "This installation package is not supported by this type of processor" appears. My operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 1903, build 18362.175. I checked the driver, installed exactly the one that my processor needed, downloaded it from both the hp site and the Intel site, but that did not help. The driver that I want to download to my integrated Intel UHD graphics 630 graphics card has the latest version and is designed for 64-bit windows 10. My processor is Intel Core i7 9750H. This is the processor in my laptop, I conducted tests and made sure of this experimentally, various utilities, for example CPU-Z, even confirm this. At the same time, apparently, a mistake was made in the official documentation of HP, and the processor was displayed in this documentation as core i7 8750H. As I know, for the core i7 9750H processor the built-in video card is designed specifically for Intel UHD graphics 630. What should I do, how can I bypass the error and install the driver for the integrated video card?

Hi:
See my knowledge base article at the link below for how to install the latest Intel graphics driver from the Intel website...

I unzipped the entire compressed zip file. What should I do next? In your article, this is not completely accurate. And how do I find the graphics driver file and its folder into which I need to unzip it? And what should I do after that? Help.

OK...
You unzipped the file.
Now you go to the device manager.
Click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
If the Intel graphics adapter needs a driver, you will see a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed there.
Whether you see an Intel graphics adapter or Microsoft Basic Display adapter appearing there, click on it.
Then click on the Driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk, and browse to the unzipped Intel graphics driver folder>Graphics>now there should show up a few files listed...you want the one labeled iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install.

I managed to complete the actions that you told me about. I got to the point of installing the integrated graphics card, and I faced a choice between the drivers for the integrated graphics adapters. I chose the one that matches my integrated graphics card (according to the official Intel website - UHD Graphics 630). I started installing the driver on this video card after I selected it from the list, but after rebooting the system the driver disappeared from the device manager, and in its place was a discrete Nvidia video card. I entered the "msinfo32" command and noticed that the type of integrated graphics controller in my processor is Intel HD Graphics. In addition, before installing UHD Graphics 630, the system issued a warning about the probable incompatibility of the installed driver and system. It turns out a contradiction. What should I do? Before installing the Intel graphics card, I deleted the Nvidia graphics card data.

Your notebook must have the Intel AMD switchable graphics adapters.
The HP specs do not mentioned what graphics the PC comes with.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to tell you because when I update my Intel graphics driver that way, it doesn't even list the model adapter. I just select the iigd_dch file and the driver updates without any warnings or notices.
