So I've spent little over four hours now attempting to invert my touchpad scroll since an update I had during the night changed my settings. I have followed plenty of provided steps from others that asked the same question both to HP and Windows 10, nothing had worked. I've uninstalled the driver, reinstalled the driver, installed a different driver, rolled back to a previous driver. I even disabled my touchpad completely and their has been no difference in settings each time.
I still only have the option to change the sensitivity of the touchpad. Trust me I've looked in the device manager, settings, everywhere I could to get it back to how I like it. I even attempted to get the app from the touchpad manufacturers that would allow me access to the settings and I couldn't download it.
I just want my settings back. I'll take any suggestions and I'll let you know if I've already tried it.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I see that you've performed pretty much every possible step to fix the issue.
We can try performing system factory recovery which will install original factory shipped software and drivers.
Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04758961#AbT3 to perform a System Recovery (Windows 10)
Note: Back up all personal files and read all caution statements before performing a system recovery.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
