Product: HP QuickDrop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP laptop that has HP quick drop pre-installed. Seems like a neat version of airdrop, with my phone and HP laptop. What would make this a home-run software is if I am able to install this stupid program on my PC (which is not HP).

HP... if you want people to use your products, this needs to be allowed. You are not Apple and you will never be Apple. Give us some freedom to install it on a different brand PC

From the note:  Requires HP QuickDrop PC companion app installed on a HP PC (available on the Microsoft Store)

That implies it won't work on non-HP computers.

 

Updated: I installed to my Dell machine and it says "this device does not meet requirements ..... "
