Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
So I pulled the notebook out of the box yesterday. It did its initial set up & upgraded to Windows 10. My keyboard is working when j try to type it's making a clicking noise. It will let me log on using the keyboard but once I'm on the computer the keyboard doesn't work. I've tried resetting the computer & still the same. Any suggestions?

Hi,

As the keyboard works until you log in, check the following.

Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'.  From the new layout, select the 'Ease of Access Centre'.

Select the option 'Make the keyboard easier to use'.

If there is a tick next to 'Turn on Filter Keys', click the box to remove it, then click Apply and Ok to save this change.

Regards,

Thanks. Your solution fit my problem too. I had tried MANY time-wasting solutions with no change. Your simple solution fixed my problem in a minute. Typed this on the "problem" keyboard.
