My laptop has broken for the 4th time in 1,5 years - now it’s a ventilator malfunction, that causes such a loud sound that is incompatible with working on this laptop. This level of quality of the laptop is disgusting and disappointing, so I demand the change of my laptop, or I’ll go to the local court.

Hi @Arseniy7,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that your HP Victus PC is making a loud noise and is currently not usable. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
Please note that support on this community forum is limited to troubleshooting. We won’t be able to process device replacements from our end. However, I’d be happy to help you with some troubleshooting steps to identify the issue.
Step 1: Try BIOS Restore:
BIOS Restore :
1) Shutdown the computer and keep the charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK
Step 2: Updates:
- Update Drivers: Check for the latest drivers for your graphics card and other devices on the HP support website.
- Update BIOS: Ensure you have the latest BIOS version for your laptop model.
- Clean the vents: Use compressed air to blow out dust from the fan vents and other vents.
- Clean the fan: If comfortable, carefully open the laptop case (check warranty first) and clean the fan blades and surrounding area.
Dust buildup can restrict airflow and cause the fans to work harder, leading to increased noise and potentially overheating.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
