Laptop fine on major items like internet, MS word but extremely small elsewhere

I recently purchased a laptop HP 16t-ab100 with resolution 2560 x 1600.  The text is fine for major things like internet test, MS word, etc.  But, items like File Explorer and all the pop-up settings like margins, etc. require a microscope to see. Is there any universal setting that will increase font size for everything. I use Arial font. Someone kindly replied to hit ctrl and +(plus sign). Unfortunately, It significantly increased the internet size which is now far to high and unusable.  Is there a way to undo the damage from using ctrl and + (plus sign)

You can use Ctrl and plus (+) sign to increase the size of characters on your machine. That is normal
