HP Notebook

Hi everyone, just wanted to share an occurance that I thought was strange and need to know if it's normal or not.

I purchased a new HP Notebook 2 days ago.  Today I looked into the Temp folder of the notebook and discovered many files that were modified back in January, months before my purchase.  What's more stange is that many of the files were last modified at night or very late night, with times ranging from 8pm to 1am.

Is this normal or factory related?

I am sure it is related to factory installation/setup. I have also seen such files in several machines I have.

Hi,

Try to look at this documentation. Maybe It could help you clear your thoughts regarding temp files. https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/kb/92635
