HP Pavillion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavillion x360 that is immediately overheating as soon as I turn it on. The fan turns on at seemingly full speed, and the top left corner of the keyboard area is very hot to the touch. I worry for the internal components of the computer and wanted to know if this is a defect or a known issue with a fix. It has been some time since I bought the laptop and honestly have not used it much since I am on the work computer everyday. I read that others have had the same problem but could not post a reply to ask how everything went with their issue and was directed to post a new thread by the website. Hoping that you can help.

Thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then run a system test on the computer follow the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
