HP Laptop Model 14

Hello.

I had this one problem happening since yesterday. I opened my laptop like usual. After a few minutes, my laptop suddenly Locking itself and shut down immediately after that. It's not in a sleep mode. The laptop really shut off.

By the way, the battery is broken. I will replace it with a new one. I'm telling this because I don't know if that problem have some kind of connection with this battery problem 😅

If there's no connection between both of it, what should i do to fix the 'locking then shut down' problem?

Thank you.

Does the Laptop shuts down with the AC Adapter connected?

Please run an extensive System Test to confirm the hardware Functionality and let me know if the Notebook shuts down during the Test

- Shut down the Notebook completely
- Turn it back on, then tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests, then click Extensive Test.

Keep me posted

Thank you Mr/Mrs @KrazyToad for replying.

Yes. The laptop shut down with the AC Adapter connected.

I'm touched that a HP Employee would like to help. Unfortunately, I don't read my email for these few days 😅. This morning, I had went to a repair computer services to settle this problem. I should have read my emails before. Might already save some money. 😬 Thank you again for your time 🤗 I really appreciate it.
