Laptop won't start. Get driver power state failure or just stuck on the hp logo.

I pretty much tried everything.  System restore systems check, tried reinstalling BIOS (can't get to prompt, but get BIOS failure). Laptop is barely 2 months old. Help!

Have you tried to remove the Hard drive and then boot to the Bios screen? If you're able to boot the computer into the Bios with the hard drive disconnected then this could be an issue with the hard drive. 

In the meantime, let's try these steps here: 

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook: 

Before power resetting your computer, do the following:

1. Disconnect or remove all peripheral devices. Start up the laptop and test the computer by itself, and then reconnect one peripheral device at a time.

2. Turn over the computer and look for a battery compartment door.

   • If there is a battery compartment, use the steps in Reset a laptop with a removable battery.

   • If there is no battery compartment, use the steps in Reset a laptop with a sealed or non-removable battery.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to attempt a Bios roll back - HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)
