I use HP support Assistant to update drivers for my laptop, but Intel has released latest HD 520 Driver and it's listed in their website..but neither windows update nor support assistant gives the latest availiable drivers..should I download the latest generic drivers? Normally HP tests drivers from Intel, Nvidia, AMD .... and releases frivers on HP support pages therefore some drivers could be months behind.

 

Sometimes you can install Intel drivers before HP drivers but in many cases this won't work or won't install at all.

 

You can try to install Intel driver in this case. If any problem, you can always go back.

Your AMD driver actually installs both Intel and AMD as part of the switching. The Intel driver posted on your support page is only for models in the series that have only Inte. Read the description of the latest AMD driver.
