Pavilion 15-cw1027ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

The fan on my laptop (HP Pavilion 15-cw1027ca) is very loud.

I tried installing the HP Command Center, and selected the 'Quiet' option... it seems to be working, but when I close the center, or restart the laptop, the same issue occurs. Is there a way to save changes so that I don't have to set it every time?

Even if I move to a different window on the Command Center (for example System Information), when I come back to the Thermal Profile, the setting has been de-selected.

Thanks!

Mita

@mits1000

I believe that is something to do with BIOS. My machine which is an Omen did have the similar fan problem, one day HPSA updated its BIOS and no more problem since then.

Please try to update BIOS or wait for HPSA kicking in to update BIOS for you.

Regards.

Thanks so much! I updated the BIOS and not sure if it helped... perhaps a little bit, but I still find it pretty loud!
