Someone knows how to manage fans on my laptop? They make too much noise and i want them to start above 60 degrees. I don't find any options in OMEN Gaming Hub and Argus Monitor... I've already disabled "Fan always on" option in BIOS. I've already changed thermal paste, thermal pads and undervolted the cpu.

@Emanuele19, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the fan issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Use HP's Built-in Tools: If you are using an HP laptop, the OMEN Gaming Hub is typically the tool provided for managing fan behavior and performance settings. If you haven't seen options for fan control, ensure that your software is up-to-date. Sometimes newer versions of the software have updated features.
BIOS Settings: As you mentioned, you've already disabled the "Fan always on" option in the BIOS. However, some BIOS versions have additional thermal settings that might not be immediately evident. It's worth checking the HP support site to see if a BIOS update might offer improved options.
Monitor Temperatures: Make sure to keep an eye on CPU and GPU temperatures to ensure that your adjustments are not leading to overheating.
Clean Vents and Check Fans: Sometimes excessive noise can also be resolved by ensuring that the air vents are clean and that the fans themselves are not physically impeded by dust or debris.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hey @Emanuele19,
Thank you for your response
My colleague @zoey7886 is currently out, but don't worry – I’ll be taking over and making sure we get this sorted for you.
Check OMEN Gaming Hub Settings:
Open OMEN Gaming Hub.
Go to the Performance tab and ensure your laptop is set to a custom thermal profile (if available).
Power Settings in Windows 10:
Open the Control Panel and go to Power Options.
Click on Change Plan Settings for the power plan you’re using, and then click Change Advanced Power Settings.
Scroll down to Processor Power Management.
Set the Minimum Processor State to 5% and the Maximum Processor State to 90% or lower to reduce overall heat production. This will help keep your system cooler and potentially reduce fan activity at lower temps.
HP Support Assistant:
Download and install HP Support Assistant from HP’s official website if you haven’t already. It may offer additional updates for drivers or BIOS, including fan control updates or power management options.
Run HP Support Assistant and check for any driver updates or BIOS updates that could enhance fan management.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
