Hi Everyone,

About a week ago I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 1809. After the upgrade, I noticed my microsoft office 2019 went back to microsoft office 365. When I first purchased my laptop, it came with a free trial of 365. Since I already purchased a product key for 2019, I decided to activiate it. I did somehow switch over to 2019 but like I said, after the upgrade it went back to 365.

I did uninstall 365 and did a repair for office 2019. However it is still showing up as 365. I just want to know what I should do and If there is really anything I need to do. Any advice is beneficial.

Do you have Microsoft account and did you register Microsoft Office 2019 using your Microsoft account ? If yes, please contact Microsoft in your country and they can will fix for you.

I bought few different copies of Offcice 2016 (also different versions/products) including 2 copies I bought at Microsoft in Seatle (Microsoft HQ). I installed each copy on each machine using ONE Microsoft account but Microsoft Licensing system keeps only 2. I had to contact Microsoft to get thing sorted out.

Regards.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I do have a microsoft account and I do believe that I registered with my microsoft account. I am not sure though.

I do want to make note that 365 only shows on the splash screen so I don't know if office 2019 is showing incorrectly or not.
