Missing drivers

Hi Everyone

I have a valued old Pavillion dv9000, running windows 10 Pro 32 bit. This I wish to reuse. (I just like this model)

In device manager I find the base device system drivers are missing

Also the coprocessor driver.

I have tried without success to find them without success

Can any one help OR loan me the original set up disk.

Hi, Colin:

You need this driver, and you may have to manually install it if the auto install method doesn't work.

This package provides the driver for the NVIDIA nForce AR Chipset in the supported notebook models and operating systems.

To manually install the driver, go to the device manager if the driver didn't install.

Click on the Coprocessor device.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

The folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp37730.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC.

The base system device needs this driver:

Ricoh Media Card Reader Driver

I know this is an antiquanted laptop - but I still think it is a good solid quality Laptop.

I have notebook and desktop PCs that work great that were made around the same time as yours.
