Missing programs and features that came with my laptop

I preformed a reset and all of the programs and features that had came pre-installed were gone. I went to the control panel and to uninstall programs. There’s only 3 programs installed. How do I get back programs such as Microsoft visual C++

There are several different forms of RESET, each one more destructive than the last, and the least destructive only retains apps installed from the MS Store; the most destructive retains NOTHING.

You can get back the HP apps and utilities by doing a factory reset using HP Recovery Media.

But as to the other stuff, you have to find and reinstall it yourself.
