Hello,
I've recently installed Win7 x64 on a HP Notebook 15-ba001nq. HP site only provides drivers for Windows 10, as far as I can see. Where can I find drivers for the following? (they show up as not installed in Device Manager)
1. Ethernet Controller
- Hardware Ids:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_81FA103C&REV_07
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_81FA103C
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&CC_0200
- Location information: PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0
- Physical Device Object name: \Device\NTPNP_PCI0024
2. PCI Device
- Hardware Ids:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577&SUBSYS_81FA103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577&SUBSYS_81FA103C
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577&CC_080600
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577&CC_0806
- Location information: PCI bus 0, device 0, function 2
- Physical Device Object name: \Device\NTPNP_PCI0001
3. SM Bus Controller
- Hardware Ids:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_790B&SUBSYS_81FA103C&REV_4A
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_790B&SUBSYS_81FA103C
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_790B&CC_0C0500
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_790B&CC_0C05
- Location information: PCI bus 0, device 20, function 0
- Physical Device Object name: \Device\NTPNP_PCI0015
4. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
- Hardware Ids:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914&SUBSYS_81FA103C&REV_20
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914&SUBSYS_81FA103C
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914&CC_0C03
- Location information: PCI bus 0, device 16, function 0
- Physical Device Object name: \Device\NTPNP_PCI0012
5. Unknown device

Hi:
Below are the links to the drivers you need...
SM Bus Controller & PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914: Install the amd chipset drivers first, and restart the PC.
You want the 1st file listed.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%207%20-%2064
Ethernet Controller: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 4th driver on the list.
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp67501-68000/sp67924.exe
ACPI\SMB0001:
This package provides the driver that enables the Synaptics TouchPad in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The driver enables general touchpad functionality (for example double-tap and scroll) and provides a user interface.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75629.exe

You're very welcome.
Thanks for letting me know that the chipset driver installs that other device too.
I take it you installed the graphics driver?
That doesn't show up where the other devices do that need drivers.
If the graphics driver is missing, you will see a Standard VGA Adapter listed under the Display Adapters device manager category.

I did. AMD's site identified what I needed so that was over with quite fast.
Although I got quite frustrated with myself after reading your reply and discovering I forgot all about the chipset. I always start with the chipset.. (old habbits :p)

OK, good.
Not an odd habit at all.
There always has been a universally recommended driver installation order.
1. Chipset, then restart.
2. Graphics, then restart.
3. Audio, then restart.
4. Ethernet, restart optional.
On some model notebooks with the Intel chipsets, the realtek ethernet driver will not install until the chipset driver is installed first, and the PC rebooted.

Hi, I have a similar issue with a different product of HP (Notebook 14-ar003tu). Will the same drivers you suggested suit for my notebook?
I have also posted my question with HP forum with a topic of "Drivers for HP Notebook 14-AR003TU (Windows 7)". Your suggestion will help me a lot..
Thanks in advance,
