HP Recommended

Does anyone have the most current BIOS file for an HP by-3053cl?  It is no longer available at HP Update.  Many thanks in advance!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and don’t worry let me help you.

 

For this model, the BIOS files are normally available through the HP Support website under “Drivers & Software.” If the file is no longer listed, it may mean that HP has either  retired the direct download link. 

 

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

  1. HP Support Assistant – Run the utility to check for hidden updates.
  2. HP Drivers & Software page – Search using the exact serila number and product number (17‑by3053cl) in https://support.hp.com/  and filter by OS.
  3. Windows Update – Occasionally, BIOS updates are pushed through Windows Update as “HP Firmware.”
