Hello Netodabullet,

Thank you for posting your concern,

The issue with the HP Elite x2 1012 G2 showing no service for your mobile broadband HP LT4226 module, despite updating the drivers, could be due to several reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check Network Coverage: Ensure that you are in an area with adequate mobile network coverage. Try relocating to a different area if possible to see if the service improves.

  2. Reinstall the Drivers: Instead of using a third-party tool like Driver Booster, download and install the latest drivers directly from the HP Support website. This ensures you are using the correct and most compatible drivers for your device. You can do this by visiting HP Customer Support, entering your device details, and selecting the appropriate drivers from the provided list.

  3. SIM Card Check: Remove and reinsert the SIM card to ensure it's properly seated in the slot. Also, verify that the SIM card is active and supported by the network provider.

  4. Network Settings Reset: Sometimes, resetting the network settings on your device can help resolve connectivity issues. Go to your network settings and look for options to reset or restart the modem or network adapter.

  5. APN Configuration: Ensure that the Access Point Name (APN) settings are correctly configured for your mobile network provider. Incorrect APN settings can prevent connectivity even if the device recognizes the network.

  6. BIOS and Firmware Updates: Check if there is a BIOS update or mobile broadband firmware update available for your device that might address connectivity issues.

  7. Hardware Issue: If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue with the mobile broadband module. If possible, try testing with another known working SIM card with service, or reach out to HP Support for further assistance.

If the problem persists, contacting HP Support or your network service provider for assistance might be necessary to determine if there is a hardware fault or network-related issue.
