Just like stated: My HP Pavilion - 15-cs3153cl came with W11 installed. Why can't I find W11 drivers for it at HP site?   When I let the HP site interrogate  the 15-cs3153cl, the only OS offered is W10.  This is ludicrous.  Frustrating & off putting.

I've owned Dell & ASUS computers & I have never experienced that with those brands. Why would I ever buy another HP?

Hi @Homer1952,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Pavilion 15-cs3153cl came with Windows 11 pre-installed but when you try to find drivers on the HP support site, Windows 11 is not listed and only Windows 10 appears — and that’s frustrating. Let’s go through a few key points so you know what’s going on, what it means, and how to get the correct drivers.

Why Windows 11 isn’t shown on the support page
Many HP support pages were created before Windows 11 was released.
Even if your system shipped with Windows 11, the support site may still list Windows 10 as the primary OS because the hardware platform was originally validated under Windows 10.

Windows 10 drivers and Windows 11 compatibility
Most Windows 10 drivers work seamlessly on Windows 11.
Microsoft maintains driver compatibility between Windows 10 and Windows 11, so a Windows 10 driver listed on the HP site is still the correct driver to install on your Windows 11 machine unless HP explicitly lists a Windows 11 version.

Why newer OEMs sometimes delay posting a Win11 tag
HP (and other manufacturers) sometimes update support documentation and OS options after a model has shipped with a newer OS.
The website may lag even though the machine ships out with Windows 11 and uses the same driver packages.

How to get the right drivers for Windows 11
• Use HP Support Assistant — it detects your system model and recommended drivers automatically.
• On the HP support page, choose Windows 10 from the OS drop-down and install the listed drivers — these will work on Windows 11.
• If a driver has a separate Windows 11 package, it will usually show up inside Support Assistant or as part of the same download.

Windows Update also provides drivers
Windows Update often installs and updates drivers (audio, chipset, network, graphics) behind the scenes on Windows 11.
This means even if the HP site doesn’t list Win11 drivers, Windows Update fills those gaps.

Graphics drivers often come directly from Intel/NVIDIA
For integrated graphics and discrete GPU drivers, you can also install the latest Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA drivers directly from their official support pages, even if HP’s site lists only Windows 10.

I hope this helps.
