My Omen laptop always need a restart to give me good performance for example: when I open fallout4 after a restart I get around 100 to 120 fps but when I put my laptop to sleep or used for like 2 or 3 hours then try to open fallout4 I get like 20 frames, 50 or 55 max. it's not a Windows issue I think cause I did reset my laptop around 10 times and used a USB to install windows like one time trying to fix it but it's still there, and I reinstalled my Vega like a hundred time still no fix, and tried every YouTube video about windows power management still nothing. and I'm not missing a driver or an update. Thank You ❤️

Hi @El-Tanash_1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing an issue with performance on your Laptop.
A) Perform a power drain on your PC.
1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.
2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.
5) Power on the PC and Update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on the link.
Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.
Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.
Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
B) Install all the pending updates for the Windows operating system following the below steps.
go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.
C) Check the 'OMEN Performance Control' setting by clicking on the link and let me know if that resolves the issue.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you, Irwin6, for replying. Unfortunately, this didn’t help with my problem. Even after updating my BIOS, Windows version, and drivers, I still need to restart my laptop for good performance. Sometimes, I even have to restart it right after starting up to ensure good performance and smooth gameplay. Could this issue be related to the BIOS configuration setting ‘adaptive battery optimization’? I currently have it enabled. And to provide you with more information, my Omen Gaming Hub settings are as follows: the graphic switcher is set to ‘Discrete,’ and the performance control is configured for ‘Performance.
