My emails will not send

My Pavilion will not send emails - either my work email (gmail) or home (hotmail). I know it's the laptop because I can send emails from both when I use the Chromebook. Can someone help please? Thanks, Penny.

From what I recall, both of those email clients are Browser-based, right?

And, with Win10, you are most likely using the default Browser -- Edge -- which gives folks no end of problems.

What you should try, short of contacting your email server host support, is switching Browers to Internet Explorer or Firefox and seeing if that makes a difference.

If it doesn't, then you will have to contact your email server support folks to walk through the settings you have, as one or more of them is preventing the mail from being sent.
