Hi @Arya1808 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

it is very unfortunate to see that your brand-new HP 255 G10 is having so many critical issues across the webcam, microphone, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Since you just purchased it on 30-05-2025, and it has had problems from the start, this indicates a serious driver conflict or a factory image defect, which is a known issue for some users of the HP 255 G10.

The fact that all your wireless and essential input devices are failing simultaneously points away from a single hardware fault and towards a foundational software/driver problem.

Lets go with step-by-step plan to resolve these issues, starting with the most likely fixes for the HP 255 G10.

1. Networking Fix: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues (frequent disconnection, slow processing, failure to connect) are often tied to the Realtek wireless adapter used in the HP 255 G10.

A. Disable Power Management for the Adapter

Windows often tries to save power by aggressively turning off the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter, causing disconnects.

Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.

Expand Network adapters.

Right-click on your Realtek Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek RTL8852BE-VS or similar) and select Properties.

Go to the Power Management tab.

Uncheck the box that says: "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Repeat these steps for the Bluetooth adapter, usually found under Bluetooth or Bluetooth Radios.

B. Manually Update or Rollback the Driver

HP support forums suggest that some newer Realtek drivers cause instability, while others require the latest update.

Go to the HP Support website and search for HP 255 G10.

Download the latest available Wireless LAN Driver and Bluetooth Driver specifically for your model and Windows 11.

If the latest driver fails, try to find an older version (e.g., the one immediately preceding the latest) on the HP site or through the Device Manager's "Update Driver" > "Browse" > "Let me pick" options.

2. Webcam and Microphone Fix

These issues are typically related to Privacy Settings or missing/incorrect AMD/Realtek CoProcessor drivers.

A. Check Windows Privacy Settings (Camera & Microphone)

This is the most common reason a camera/mic fails after initial setup.

Open Settings (Windows Key + I).

Go to Privacy & security.

Under "App permissions," click on Camera. Ensure "Camera access" and "Allow apps to access your camera" are both set to On.

Repeat the process for Microphone. Ensure "Microphone access" and "Allow apps to access your microphone" are both set to On.

B. Reinstall Audio Drivers

The microphone may be missing because a critical AMD/Realtek component is not installed correctly.

Go to the HP Support website for your model and download the latest Audio Driver (Realtek).

Go to Device Manager.

Expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click the Realtek device and select Uninstall device (check the box to delete the driver software if prompted).

Expand System devices. Look for the AMD Audio CoProcessor (or similar) and uninstall it as well.

Restart the laptop.

Install the HP Realtek Audio Driver you downloaded in Step 1.

3. Warranty and Replacement (Best Option)

Given that all critical functions (Camera, Mic, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) have failed from the day of purchase, this strongly indicates a manufacturing defect or a seriously corrupt factory software image that cannot be fixed by a simple driver update.

Since your purchase date is 30-05-2025, your laptop is still within the 1-year manufacturer warranty period and likely within the dead-on-arrival (DOA) or replacement window (usually 14 days from purchase).

Your best course of action is to contact HP Support immediately to claim a repair or replacement.

Hope this helps resolve your issue
