 Hi, I need help to find the bios update for Compaq Presario V3500

Hi:

 

You can only update the BIOS if you are running Windows Vista.   

 

If you update the BIOS when running W7, there is a 99% chance your notebook will become an expensive paperweight.

Thanks a lot, i'll make sure to do that. Any idea what ssd models would be compatible to upgrade this notebook?

You're very welcome.

 

I don't know if a SSD would work in that model series. 

 

With most of those old notebooks with the nvidia chipset and AMD processors, folks have not had good results getting a SSD to work.

 

The crucial memory report for the model series shows no 2.5" SSD's are supported.
