Hello @Michaelsen

Your Notebook is not HP certified/tested for Windows 11

You can still try this:

(1) Update BIOS

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)

Why ?

Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help resolve the following issues:

  • An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
  • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
  • HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.

"

(2) Install card reader

Alcor Micro Card Reader Driver

1.19.2.2300 Rev.A1.6 MBNov 27, 2020Download

(3) Reboot and test again ...

best regards

This BIOS update is not compatible with my notebook, but it doesn't matter because the alcor driver you provided works! Thanks a lot!

Ok, can we please double check again...

Tell me product number (p/n) of your notebook so you get the correct Bios version !

You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small alphanumeric letters.

( Please note: It's not allowed to post serial numbers (s/n) in public ! )
