When did you purchase the laptop? You have 30 days to return it . If they don’t let you return it you should call your CC company and dispute that payments and make your CC company aware of this issue. There are apparently two topics about this. Check the previous post, there’s a link on it. And HP just totally ignores it. Once they get the money they don’t care.

I called again and they accepted the return. I guess it depends who you get on the phone. Anyway, it is really sad because I really like the laptop. However, not being able to sleep and, even worse, restarting instead, is a deal breaker for me ( and I guess for everyone). I wonder if all of these model have the same issue. I though on getting a replacement, but I was worried that I will have the same issue again.

for me helped this
cause when this service is stopped everything works fine
- In the Control Panel, select Administrative Tools and open Services.
- Scroll down to XTUOCDriverService and double-click it to bring up its properties.
- Click Stop to stop the service from running.
- Change the Startup Type to disabled (or switched-off, cause dont know what exactly word used in english, NOT AUTO, NOT MANUAL) and click OK.
but after that HP command center not working and asking download update, after installing update it starts and starts XTUOCDriverService and problem appears again
So.
it goes to sleep well if (one of these actions):
- I stop and disable XTUOCDriverService
- I uninstall HP Commande center
