Brand new just opened  box - HP pavilion laptop 15-eh 1070 wm.

Box says Windows 11 inside but after connecting and reading about the laptop it says Windows 10 home version installed.

Is this a simple as just searching for updates? Please advise and thank you for my beginner status questions

Hi:

 

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with W10 Home from HP.

If you want to upgrade to W11, you have two options.

 

1. Wait to get notified of the W11 upgrade via Windows update.

 

2.  Upgrade to W11 anytime you want (including right now), by clicking on the blue Windows 11 Installation Assistant button at the link below (1st option).
