Hp sometimes installs programs, otherwise with windows 10 you have the camera app

Using the camera
Your computer has one or more cameras that enable you to connect with others for work or play. Cameras may be front facing, rear facing, or pop up. To determine which camera(s) are on your product, see Getting to know your computer on page 3
Most cameras allow you to video chat, record video, and record still images. Some also provide HD (high-definition) capability, apps for gaming, or facial recognition software like Windows Hello.
See Securing your computer and information on page 41 for details about using Windows Hello.
On select products, you can also enhance your camera privacy by turning the camera off. By default, the camera is turned on. To turn off your camera, slide the camera privacy switch toward the icon next to the switch. To turn the camera back on, slide the switch away from the icon.
To use your camera, type camera in the taskbar search box, and then select Camera from the list of applications.

It is better than nothing, plus it also provides other useful information beyond just using the camera.

Are u sure this is for my model - " 15s-Eq1xxx " ??  in the pdf it shows page 4 -side view completely different ?? Mine has No vents on the sides - Only underneath in the Base.

Normally manuals are available, for a series.
But they can be given for several models, see the rest of the document, it is usually quite vague
for example

For your original question, you will not find anything more precise anyway.
