Ram: 8GB

GPU: Integrated 5500(Device manager doesn't show other gpu, so I assume that's the only one)

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

  • Have you installed any new hardware on this computer, before the issue appeared?
  • Have you installed any new software or drivers on this computer, before the issue appeared?

Thank you for responding! I posted my S/N but it got removed. It's: CND5117HRJ

Also, I did not install any new hardware, I was given this laptop for a windows reinstallation, I presume it has been tampered with because it has a 120g ssd in it. I managed to install drivers manually using hardware ids but I'm unsure about the hardware inside, and if everything is actually recognised by windows 7

I also tried downloading HP Support Assistant but that didn't really help me

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I’d like additional information in order to troubleshoot

  • Are you getting any error message while installing the HP Support Assistant?
  • What happens when the computer is started?

No errors while installing, and windows boots fine thanks to the drivers I manually installed from ini files.
