Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Try the "old school" way. Have the screen that you want to copy open, then just tap "Print Sc". (No alt or Fn button needed). It should now be sitting in RAM, waiting for the next action.
Now open the old "Paint" app in Windows Accessories, then click "Paste" from the menu bar. The screenshot should appear in the Paint app now. You can crop, edit, and markup the shot if desired.
You can now save the file if desired, or print it!
