Few things are more annoying than seeing a notification telling me "Important action needed" and finding that there is NOTHING TO DO.
How can I make this go away?

Welcome to the HP Community.

What you do depends on where you are seeing the notification.

HP Support Assistant can be told to not display certain information.

If you wish, you can remove the HPSA icon from the Taskbar, too.

HPSA can still be started from the Windows Start screen using search or PIN to start.

Example - HPSA - Application type - Settings

HPSA_App_Settings_4HPSA_App_Settings_4

Example - HPSA - Software type - Settings

HPSA_Settings_V8.8.X_1HPSA_Settings_V8.8.X_1

What else?

Other Notifications can be squelched in Settings > System > Notifications & actions

Switch off everything or switch on / off by application.
