My notebook/laptop was originally supplied with keys for a Windows 10 upgrade that I declined.  I would like to upgrade now.  How is it possible to acquire the old Windows 10 product key so I may upgrade my machine?

Yes that looks correct.

Hi,

Do you have the Windows 7 product code?

You can use this to activate a clean installation of Windows 10.

Hope it helps,

David

Oh yes.  Of course I have the code, at least I think it is the code they want.  So many possible IDs but I've saved most if not all.  To confirm should I use a third-party app to find my product code or is it easily uncovered?

Would the code/ID look something like (X for alpha, # for numeric):

XXXXX-X#XXX-X#X#X-X#XXX-XX#XX

HP Recommended

Yes that looks correct.

Regards,

David
