Omen by HP Laptop 17-an0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot update Omen Command Center. When I try it says HP Support Assistant isn't installed and it wants me to download and install it. HP Support Assistant IS installed and up to date so I don't know why OMEN Command Center isn't seeing it.

Any ideas?

Hi @Katencomp

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps to re-install the HP Support Assistant -

1) In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2) Look for HP Support Assistant.
3) Right click to uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
5) Install the HP Support Assistant from this link.

Also, try updating the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

If the issue still persists, uninstall the OMEN Command Center and re-install it from the Microsoft store and restart the computer.

To update the OMEN Command Center, try these steps -

1) Click the Windows Store icon in the system tray.
2) Search for OMEN Command Center.
3) Click Update.
4) Wait while the program downloads and installs.
5) Click Play.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
