OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recenty bought this laptop. first thing i did after looking at a few things like omen command centre (where everything wokred fine) was run all the updated in the hp support app. including bios, gpu and omen command updates.

since then omen command centre works fine except always reads GPU and 0% util and 0 degrees.

is this a known issue i treid seraching around but nothing came up.

not really a huge issue but I would like to know how hot it is getting might nudge me into getting a laptop cooler or not (leaning to no atm as i work abroard and on tour a lot hence the laptop so would rarther not unless am uncomfortable with the temp)

Hey there! @GazzyJ, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand omen command centre on your PC is not showing the GPU stats.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes your PC?

Please provide the product number of your PC to assist you better.

The GPU stats will appear when you play high graphic oriented game or application on your PC.

And the GPU stats would be displayed only when the discrete graphics card on your laptop kicks in.

However, you can try updating the drivers on your PC to the latest version using HP support assistant and check if it helps.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.

I bought this laptop three days ago, it's a HP 15-DC0850ND.

Today I installed the same updates through the HP Support Assistent program and my GPU stats have dissappeared too.
The Omen Command Center just says it's 0% in use and that the temperature is 0 while I'm running games.

Also one of the recommended updates for my drivers keeps failing the update after several tries.
Below I have included a screenshot of the ''Intel Chipset Installation Ulity and Driver'' update that keeps failing.

Would it be possible to help me solve these two problems? Unfortunately they occured so soon after me buying the laptop, but I would really like to have them solved. 🙂

Also I have performed all the problem solving diagnostics using the HP Support Assistent program but none have solved my problems.
This is the driver update that keeps failing. This is the driver update that keeps failing.
